Belay Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support mission-critical application and web service development in support of an Identity and Access Management (IdAM) solution. Technical responsibilities include support for software design, development, integration, testing, and operational maintenance. The development includes the acquisition of attributes from authoritative sources, integration with a COTS LDAP or Virtual Directory, and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) Web Services.

Candidates should have the following qualifications: 

• TS/SCI with polygraph is required.        
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to the computer engineering or computer science disciplines
• 10 years of Software Engineering experience.  An additional 4+ years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree for a total of 14 years.
• 3 years’ work experience in the SIGINT, IA, or IT domains

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

• High level of proficiency and skill with Java software development
• Experienced with designing, developing, testing, integrating, and deploying Spring Boot applications running in Docker containers
• Familiarity with MongoDB document databases
• Proficient with Git version control and Maven build tools
• Skilled at building robust, scalable, secure, and high-performance applications
• Experienced with automated builds using Gitlab Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Familiarity with various AWS services (S3, EC2, ECR, etc.)
• Experienced with Oauth2/Open ID Connect development standards
• Ability to write unit test cases using Junit/Mock testing frameworks
• PKI encryption and authentication
• Familiar with Linux environments
• Must be able to work in a collaborative environment with other network/platform engineers and system/application administrators.  Must be able to work with minimum supervision.

Candidates are desired to have the following skills:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills – Able to clearly communicate architecture and design concepts
• Ability to write technical documentation including wiki sites, blogs, XML/HTML
• Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task and work independently with minimum supervision to meet deadlines
