Full-Stack or Back-End Java Software Engineer

Belay Technologies is seeking a Full-Stack or Back-End Java Software Engineer. The individual will support the TTO 86, Report Authoring and Dissemination (RAD). This engineer will support development on the Dissemination and Discovery team, working to integrate the new RAD tool with existing Agency tools and enterprise solutions.

Belay Technologies is seeking a Full-Stack or Back-End Java Software Engineer. The individual will support the TTO 86, Report Authoring and Dissemination (RAD). This engineer will support development on the Dissemination and Discovery team, working to integrate the new RAD tool with existing Agency tools and enterprise solutions.
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- TS/SCI with full scope polygraph is required.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
- Master’s degree can be substituted for two (2) years’ experience
- Shall have at least twelve (12) years’ experience as a Software Engineer in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, or problem diagnosis/resolution.
- The individual must be able to communicate directions and provide guidance to junior programmer/analysts, as required.
- Front End User Interface (UI) Development, Middle-Tier
- Development, Back-End Development, Full Stack Development, Data Modeling, DevOps, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA),“wrapping” legacy systems or components as Web Services within a SOA framework
- Must have experience with the following:
- Java
- SpringBoot
- Apache NiFi
- Elasticsearch
- API development
Candidates are desired to have the following skills:
- Current Agency reporting tools and solutions
- Familiar with Docker
- Familiar with Kafka
- Experienced with DevOps processes and automation methods
- Experienced with Agile software development practices, Jira and Confluence
